Year of the Pig

Hello everyone!

Happy Lunar New Year – Happy Chinese New Year – Happy Vietnamese Tet! I’ve been busy celebrating because it was also my birth day! πŸ™‚

I ate, drank and cooked a little too much. It’s time to get back to work. (lol)

Traditional Vietnamese Sticky Roll

This is a very special treat for the new year, you can find it at an Asian bakery or market, and they’re not cheap. Now I understand why. My parents made it for the family – it took them about 10 hours to make only 5!? What?!

You can eat this soft and warm or like me, I like to eat it fried and crispy. So yummy!

Here’s an overview of how I celebrated my new birth year and lunar new year. Many blessings to me and you in 2019 + beyond!

Until next time, Stay well. Eat well. Cook better!
